CP Cases EMS500 Rack

The EMS racks are an expandable rack system. Originally I bought a 6u version with a horizontal mixer mount, and expanded it bit by bit by getting additional 3u kits and a wheelboard.

It currently sits at 15u (the picture to the left shows a 12u version) and when loaded is *$%*^£%&^ heavy. I've lifted that up and down 6 flights of stairs, into vans and car boots. The actual rack is extremely light, made of bullet proof shock absorbent plastic (like that of car bumpers). I think in future I'll be breaking the rack up into smaller sections, and link the two halves with patchbays, just for easier transport.

There is an EMS400 version, which is less deep than the 500 version. All racks come with detachable front and back doors, and detachable lid if you want top access to a horizontally mounted mixer.

I've also been impressed by CP Cases service, and they offer a huge range of racks, cases, bags and accessories.
